Data Availability
We use publicly available data for county-level temperature, Covid-19 case counts, mask usage, Google mobility data, SafeGraph mobility data, and county population. SafeGraph mobility data and CMU mask usage surveys were openly available through the Delphi Epidata API (https://cmu-delphi.github.io/delphi-epidata/api/covidcast.html). All other data were openly available for direct download (https://goo.gle/covid-19-open-data, https://github.com/nytimes/covid-19-data, https://github.com/nychealth/coronavirus-data, https://github.com/nytimes/covid-19-data/tree/master/mask-use, https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/06/23/most-americans-say-they-regularly-wore-a-mask-in-stores-in-the-past-month-fewer-see-others-doing-it, https://www.google.com/covid19/mobility/, https://github.com/JieYingWu/COVID-19USCountylevelSummaries/tree/master/data).
