A total of 66 deaths were identified, resulting case fatality proportion of 0.9%. Older people, and those with coexisting medical conditions were at risk for fatal outcomes. The highest number of cases were from Daegu, followed by Gyeongbuk, with elevated age-stratified case fatality.
