Cox regression analysis results in a lower hazard ratio for those receiving the Moderna vaccine, but a significantly higher hazard ratio for those receiving the Janssen vaccine, as compared to those who got the Pfizer vaccine. Importantly, the risk of hospitalization (P<0.001) and death (P<0.05) were lower among individuals who had a SARS-CoV-2 infection prior to vaccination, independent of age, sex, comorbidities, and vaccine type.Competing Interest StatementThe authors have declared no competing interest.Funding StatementThis study did not receive any funding Author DeclarationsI confirm all relevant ethical guidelines have been followed, and any necessary IRB and/or ethics committee approvals have been obtained.YesThe details of the IRB/oversight body that provided approval or exemption for the research described are given below:Ethics approval and consent to participate This study does not constitute as human subjects research due to the usage and reporting of only deidentified observational data as determined by the ethics committee of the University of Washington School of Medicine.
