Therefore, the “Goto Travel Campaign” (GTC) was presumed as the main cause of the third wave.Object We evaluated GTC effects considering climate conditions and mobility. Method: We regressed R(t) on temperature, humidity, mobility, and countermeasures. Results: Estimation results indicate that temperature was a negative and significant influence; mobility was positive and significant. The emergency state and GTC were negative and significant.Discussion and Conclusion Estimation results show that R(t) would increase by 0.52 if the temperature were to decline by 20°C. To cancel this effect, going out should be reduced by 50%. We conclude that GTC did not raise infectiousness.Competing Interest StatementThe authors have declared no competing interest.Funding StatementThe author(s) received no specific funding for this work.Author DeclarationsI confirm all relevant ethical guidelines have been followed, and any necessary IRB and/or ethics committee approvals have been obtained.YesThe details of the IRB/oversight body that provided approval or exemption for the research described are given below:All information used for this study has been published.
