Data Availability
The data used for the analysis have been obtained by combining several administrative registers collected and held by three government agencies: Statistics Sweden, The National Board of Health and Welfare and The Public Health Authority. Access to these data sets is restricted by national regulations, but any researcher wishing to replicate our results can apply for access through these agencies. Since the study involves sensitive individual level data, getting access to the data also requires approval from an Ethics Board.
